Hi! My name is Amber Wise

I'm currently running to be the on the board of Commissioners for Public Hospital District #2. (Evergreen Kirkland)
I'm running for this position to be a voice and advocate for the healthcare workers within the hospital and to create stronger connections within the district.
I believe in order for our leaders to truly understand the needs, concerns, and desires of the entire community, we need leaders that are able to provide different perspectives and experiences. I will work with the frontline staff to implement policies and programs that will promote positive work environments and allow them to continue providing high quality care they always have. I will work to increase community engagement so that residents within the district are aware of and have a say in the decisions that impact them and their health.
We need more compassionate, accessible, and supportive leadership and I want to work to build bridges of connection between the board, the staff in the hospital, and the residents within the community.
As a meatcutter apprentice in Redmond with PCC, and a member of UFCW3000 I live by and strongly value collaboration, transparency, and accountability. I feel that together we can work to create systems that address the unique needs of all that are served.
ID LOVE TO CONNECT WITH YOU!
I love hearing about everyone’s unique perspective, experiences, and ideas about Evergreen!
